Training Staff

Co-owner, co-founder, Ann is a graduate of SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (BS) and Penn State University (MS) with degrees in Forest Zoology and Wildlife Management.  Ann has been training dogs and teaching pet dog obedience classes for 25 years.  She is certified by the National Association of Dog Obedience Trainers (NADOI) and the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (CPDT-KA) and is a Canine Good Citizen evaluator.  Ann lives with 3 cats and one Australian Cattle Dog and in her spare time she enjoys hiking, snowshoeing, and spending time at her camp in the Adirondacks.

Co-owner, co-founder,  Kaki graduated from Castleton State College with a BS in marketing.  She holds certifications in dog training by the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (CPDT-KA) and the National Association of Dog Obedience Trainers(NADOI), and is also an AKC registered dog handler.  Kaki has been involved in dogs for her lifetime.  Her family owned and operated a boarding/show kennel, as well as a satellite grooming facility, both located in New Jersey.  Kaki breeds champion Labrador Retrievers under the “Frakari” registered kennel prefix.  Her labs have titles in Conformation, Agility, Rally, and Obedience.  Her interests include hiking/walking her dogs and going to dog shows with her husband.
